Rev. Jin has been the pastor at Crafton UP since 2023. Born and raised in South Korea, Rev. Jin moved to the Philippines as a teenager, where he witnessed his missionary parents’ dedication and developed a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and ministry. He holds an M.Div. from the Lutheran Theological Center in Atlanta (part of the Interdenominational Theological Center), an M.A. in Christian Education from Columbia Theological Seminary, and a Master’s in Theological Studies with a focus on the New Testament. Inspired by Abraham, Jacob, and Joseph—who left their homes, grew in faith, witnessed God’s presence with them, and guided others in spiritual growth, including themselves—Rev. Jin seeks to journey with others in deepening their faith in Jesus Christ together.

Ellen Gross works throughout the Pittsburgh area primarily as a music therapist, having earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Slippery Rock University and Temple University, with a Master's degree in Music Therapy. She currently provides in-home music therapy services to patients and families at Heartland Hospice. She enjoys supervising undergraduate music therapy students at Duquesne University through a practicum with St. Anthony's Post-Secondary program. Ellen has served as a church musician in the Presbyterian tradition since 2011, having studied organ through the Pittsburgh Organ Academy Scholarship Program, with teachers including Dr. J. Richard Szeremany and Dr. Ann Labounksy. In 2017, Ellen earned the Service Playing Certificate from the American Guild of Organ-ists. She also finds enjoyment as accompanist for the Mon Yough Chorale, based in White Oak, since 2011.

Barbara was raised in Crafton. Her happy place is crafting with her girlfriends. She and her friends have dabbled in many classes from throwing a pot to glass fusing. She loves hanging out with my family, especially her two nephews who bring her so much joy! You can meet her at the church on Mon, Tues, and Thursday from 9 am to 1 pm.
